Michael Chun received a B.S. in Robotics Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2024, and is currently pursuing an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the same institution. Michael’s research interest include space robotics, autonomous control systems, and soft robotics. He is currently conducting research under the guidance of Dr. Tae Myung Huh, focusing on alternative sensing systems and their applications in robotics. His recent work involves the development of a soft corrugated tube sensor designed to utilize acoustic resonance to estimate strain in each half segment.
